WEBurlesque the Podcast

Jun 26, 2022

Viktor Devonne asked some of his favorite nightlife personalities for some of their formative queer movies and they narrowed them to 3 each.  Each segment features discussion on that film from the entertainer, in addition to further notes from those who were there at the time of the recording session.  These are by no means meant to be a comprehensive expose on each film, but features notable memories, scenes, and analysis on them.

Part 3 (audio version) contains the 2nd film selection of all of the participants including Miss Violet Deville, Esmerelda May, Noctua, Lewd Alfred Douglas, Oliver Swisskey, Mr. Valdez, Mimi Hurricane, Lucky Charming, and Viktor Devonne.  Films discussed are Mean Girls (2004), Jennifer's Body (2009),  Broken Hearts Club (2000), Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001), Clue (1985), The Naked Civil Servant (1975), Queen of the Damned (2002), Were the World Mine (2008), and season 3 of American Gods (2021).

Video Versions of film discussions available: https://weburlesque.wordpress.com/tag/movies-that-made-we/ -- For video ease, each film has been highlighted as a standalone video track, available freely to watchers.
